It’s your ideas that count with Durexhibit, so we’ve kept the design guidelines as easy and as straightforward as we can. Simply follow the instructions in steps 1 to 4.

Also, we are providing you with an original Durex logo (zip file), in a variety of sizes, to help you along your way.

Please make sure that you are familiar with the legal limitations at the bottom of this page.

1. Create your original poster

  • Size: A4 (210 x 297mm)
  • Format: Portrait
  • Colour: RGB
  • Resolution: 300dpi
    (print resolution)

NB: You must save the original file of your poster – if you win, we’ll need it!

2. Prepare your poster for upload

You will need to convert your original poster file into the following format for uploading.

Save as:

  • File size: 72dpi (424 pixels x 600 pixels)
  • File type: PNG

3. Register

Click enter in the top menu.

You will be given the choice to register to upload or register to rate – choose register to upload. If you have registered previously and signed in with your user name and password, you will be directed automatically to the upload page. (Note: Registering to upload will automatically register you to rate as well.)

Fill in your details as requested, then click submit. You will be notified instantly if your details have been accepted and an e-mail will be sent to you shortly after for verification. Check your e-mail and click to verify.

You can now sign in with your user name and password both to enter your work (upload) and rate others’.


4. Upload your entries

After signing in, click enter in the top menu. You will be directed automatically to the upload page. Click browse to find the png of your entry on your computer. Add your poster title and poster description, then click upload. You will be receive notification if your file has been uploaded successfully or not.

Your poster will undergoe a brief initial assessment by a moderator to make sure it complies with the competition rules. If your poster is rejected you will be emailed with a short explanation of why, giving you an opportunity to rethink and resubmit your idea. Otherwise within 24 hours – or a little longer at weekends – your poster will be up on the site.

Legal limitations

No rights protected material (e.g. library photographs) should be used. If you use any royalty free images, keep a note of where they came from. If you use your own photographs, ensure you have the permission of any people in them. No obscene or offensive images should be used. Avoid copyright material such as product logos or immediately recognisable brands (other than Durex).
