I like it, it's clear and a nice design. Maybe a bit of text saying something like "play safe" or "use a condom" would make get acorss the message even more clearly.

» Layla (Layla Boyd) responded:

the poster i meant to upload was supposed to have the tagline 'play safe' at the bottom of it, on the left hand corner in very dark brown, which appears to be black. but i uploaded the wrong poster and only realised when i had a fair number of positive votes. im very annoyed at myself!

this is great but copyright?

» Layla (Layla Boyd) responded:

i have thought about this. i think to get around it a different doll, like a cheap imitation barbie, would have to be used if taken to a full on national campaign, but that would be easily sorted out. hopefully that would eliminate the problem.

i like this one. simple and effective, with a sense of humour which some of the other entries are lacking

10th Jan 2008 7:54pm

vikigardiner

this makes me smile but misses the point and the severity. therefore i would say it isnt thought provoking enough and would be quickly disregarded as having a clear message

good work

» Layla (Layla Boyd) responded:

i think the whole point of a poster is it to catch the audiences eye, which this poster does. scare tactics on posters dont work, and whereas this isnt a very hard hitting poster, the message behind it is. the fact that being in a relationship does not protect you from sti's. the message is hard hitting enough i think, so why not have fun with the imagery?

It's really nice to see a poster that isn't designed by someone in their late 50's purely aimed at scaring young people out of sex
