Description:

Unprotected sex is a lottery. There is a chance you will get away with it but the risks far outweight the pleasures.

This poster uses the game show wheel as a metaphor for relying on luck and not on Durex.

a really nice concept, well executed! maybe showing more diseases would have emphasised the risk more. but overall, its very effective

the best, I like the use of colours, maybe you should have put more triangles in around the edge to link it together, but really nice.

nicely visuallised, good type choice. shows the idea simply and effectively. maybe more diseases than pleasure sections but apart from that mate pukka.

Interesting idea, colours work well, nice.

Great poster, Really makes you think. Love the play it safe at the bottom. It really drives the message home that you are playing a dangerous game by not wearing a condom. Excellent

6th Nov 2007 11:45am

seanayling

elegant and simple conveys all i need to know and want to see. good use of type and with well considered size for distance viewing alongside being highly visible which will catch the eyes of passers by. well visualised with all semiotics carefully considered

6th Nov 2007 12:01pm

cliffybiro

very eye-catching, it has a very game show feel. perhaps the poster should have more of a glamorous feel to it, but not bad.

6th Nov 2007 12:17pm

kate89

a bit much on the wheel maybe? good idea though

6th Nov 2007 2:26pm

7th Nov 2007 9:35am

cheeks (Clare Heeks)

its not very easy to see what is writen on the wheel

7th Nov 2007 9:45am

Maria (Maria Seager)

Its too "Las Vegas" style...overpowers the overall message.

7th Nov 2007 9:45am

willwillwill

good colours, good type, it's probably the best condom themed poster I've seen in my life, if I'd seen it a few days ago maybe I wouldn't have a burning sensation.

7th Nov 2007 11:58am

Lojo (Lauren Stroud)

its a good idea but i just don't think that me or any other young person would pay much attention to it. to me it looks a little to bland.

7th Nov 2007 12:28pm

» JamesLeake responded:

thank you for your comment, but surly your statement of "me, or any other young person" is quite arrogant, seeing as I have quite a large number of very positive comments above you. Please dont put some worthless comment just because you are voting for a friends pster to win, and voting mine down because I many beat you. Grow up please.

dubccc (Chris Cobb)

9th Nov 2007 2:34pm

daniel

do you feel this will win? i dont

9th Nov 2007 3:04pm

» JamesLeake responded:

i didnt say i will win, i just said peoples tactical voting is ruining the competition. like everyone who entered, I hope to win. there is no need to be so rude, you try making a poster for this site.

9th Nov 2007 6:18pm

tommyp

it's a great idea, very good visual impact. i like the type but maybe the wheel graphic could be simplified?

I like the way you use the wheel as a metaphor. It's bright and colourful, and easy to read. Good design, well done!!

14th Nov 2007 12:10am

robpemb (Robert Pemberton)

this hads a lovely feel to it that fits right in with the durex brand image. using the traditional saying of "dont play the sex lottery" as a concept is good in the way that people will instantly be able to relate to it. alltogether a great poster. was it done in illustrator?

14th Nov 2007 11:29pm

Dreamcatcher366

i really like this idea, its bright and it stands out a lot too. I also love the tagline, you could maybe add a few more sti'd to the wheel

15th Nov 2007 10:39am

Cool poster! Good colours Good images S'all gooooood :)

16th Nov 2007 10:55am

the text is excellent, but the strength of the other posters on here makes this one a let down.. sorry

16th Nov 2007 12:29pm

ipod_music

too in yer face.. especially seen as the majority on here are all simplistic

16th Nov 2007 1:21pm

how_creative

This is by far one of the best posters on here. And so what if it's not simplistic it's nice to see someone doing something different. I've commented saying posters are to busy but even tho it is busy it is definately worth stopping to look unlike others on the site.

20th Nov 2007 9:39am

Nice, simple idea. Conveys the message in a way that everyone can relate to. Love the use of colours too. Well done!

20th Nov 2007 9:58am

The colors are fine but its too busy for a poster, dont have much time to read it when walkin by!!
