There is no excuse for not using protection. My aim was to show what message you're actually conveying to your partner when you try to avoid condoms.
very eye catching and clear.

because its clever and simple.

Having the I and the T portray a stronger message as they emphasise the word IDIOT.
10th Jan 2008 6:36pm
Its simple, to the point and I think the I and T frame the message nicely.
10th Jan 2008 7:34pm
why is there a random 'T"...i like the idea but the execution is poor as the copy lacks consistency
10th Jan 2008 7:52pm
i dont ike condoms either but i'm not an idiot....there is a mixed message to this ad as most men dont like condoms but aren't idiots

I think the poster brings out a very powerful message to the reader, which is emphasised very cleverly by the word 'idiot' (both because it is perpendicular to the quote and because it is written in red). Furthermore the word 'idiot' has two meanings: a) that one's an 'idiot' for not using condoms because (s)he does not care about getting STIs; and b) because (s)he does not care about the partner (s)he is having sex with as they might get STIs. Overall sends out a good message, though I feel it is particularly aimed at boys. One other thing, perhaps the T which dangles at the end could be converted into something like 'Tom, 19' so it shows that people actually say this kind of thing

great, its got a really clear message that you could absorb quickly if you saw it when out.

I think it is a very clever way of getting the message across. It's eye catching and quick to the point therefore the absence of words by the I and T make the poster easier to read without being swamped by lettering.

This is a really clever and thoughtful
11th Jan 2008 1:37pm
really clear and a great message..love it
11th Jan 2008 7:20pm
Clear, Simple and easy to understand.
11th Jan 2008 7:41pm
eyecatchin but why the 't' maybe the word 't-rex' could've been used??!!
11th Jan 2008 8:12pm
really liked this at first, quite striking and cleaver shame about the 'T' tho, coz the speech marks do incorporate it! maybe if it said "I Don't lIke cOndoms aT all" ... still good tho
11th Jan 2008 8:59pm
A clear simple message.Quick to read and absorb if you passed this poster on a bus or in a car.The red really works well against the black and white.
12th Jan 2008 7:21pm
I agree with dan. Great idea but needs a word for the T and possibly one for the I.
13th Jan 2008 4:01pm
Ha genius!
13th Jan 2008 8:34pm
E X C E L L E N T dont get what all the fuss is about the t, its a great poster
13th Jan 2008 8:50pm
the idea is cool but im with the first comment on here, needs work.
13th Jan 2008 10:38pm
its what a lot of people say, which does make them idiot. so true and people dont like being called idiot so they may stop and think
13th Jan 2008 11:38pm
a bit too obvious in my opinion. it communicates a message well, just not sure its the right one.
14th Jan 2008 12:39am
Carianne well done :) I think this is really good! It's simple yet gets the message across very clearly. The use of red is eyecatching too. Ignore the negative comments regarding the I and the T - the fact that they are not part of a word themselves is irrelevant. Excellent work :D
14th Jan 2008 6:32pm
Eye catching and easy to absorb and think about on the way back from a night out. Should win!
14th Jan 2008 7:14pm
very clever

lol

danburns
if you are going to have word play then it needs to be consistent - what do the I and the T stand for? they are just randomly there - message still clear but execution needs work.
