This poster was created to acknowledge the dangers of all the aspects of unprotected sex. It was created after thorough and detailed research of the target audience and subject matter.
The idea of using dice has been the core of the advertisement and I feel that the tagline and perspective imagery contributes to the overall design of the poster.
My aim of this poster is to raise awareness via statistics and the colour which echoes the message appropriately.
Thank you for taking the time in viewing this.
Very impacting. Clear message and a rate nice design. Really well layed out and a good tag line. Safe!

i think that the typeface is innapropriate, the colours do not compliment each other. The layout is aweful to be honest, especially where it says "just use" the base line needs moving up so that the image stands alone, not confilcting with the type. other than that it is a good idea to use the shock factor, eventhough it is not entirely original.

If jesus likes it , i like it I also think that the word "million" should be replaced with digits much like the 16,000 as you could then compare them. Making it stand out more

I think this poster is great. I really like that you have put a fact at the top. I also like the tagline and the background of words where the dices are placed. Well Done.

I like.

the best poster on here, others just dont come close, drumking just dosent have a clue, he just knows its better than anything hes going to come up with so he feels the need to slate this one, the colours work great as does the tag line, id give this 11 out of 10, very well done :) x

Well done kate, i really like the simple but impacting message, i also like the fact at the top of the poster, it really makes you stop and think, again well done =]

This poster acts as a sincere warning to all those thinking of embarking on unprotected sex. It is a welcome antithesis to the more comedic durex advertisements that seem to dwell more on forming irritating puns that would be more at home in a Carry On film. It does not detract from the serious danger that comes with contracting STI's. Typeface is bold and uncompromising, its succinct message incrimental to its impact. One critiscism, however, would perhaps lie in the lack of prominance on the final tagline. Me and my boyfriend, Matt Evans, think it is superb. Love you Matty! xx

rits a good idea but the execution lets it down. at ad shell size the type would be huge and yet the spacing and typeface choice make the text hard to read at a distance. also STIs doesnt need an apostrophe. to really get the message across the dices should be on double one instaid of double six to get across the idea of losing if you gamble with condoms. With some more crafting this could be immense but just isn't quite there yet
6th Nov 2007 12:05pm
visually it is too busy. I feel that the gambling idea has already been done by the wheel of fortune poster, however, you have done it well too, the poster is just too clunky.
6th Nov 2007 12:12pm
nice but gambling theme too similar to one poster already on the site
6th Nov 2007 1:43pm
A better solution would be sixes on all faces of both dice.
6th Nov 2007 10:33pm
Like the dice and the gambling theme but could have used a better picture or use of colours. also, too much writing.
7th Nov 2007 10:37am
'unoriginal' 'been done', no, someone else happens to have also chosen gambling as a theme, shhh. also to frany, the sixs on all sides have already been used in a natwest ad i agree with lauren on my opinion, it needs more colour, i feel depressed looking at it, overall i like the dice.

I love this poster! its a so easy to understand and it is so easy to just read! i think this gets the message across quite well and it is nice in general!
7th Nov 2007 12:25pm
like the shock factor, but i feel that the layout needs work, to produce a more professional feel .
7th Nov 2007 8:23pm
small changes and this could be a winner!
8th Nov 2007 11:18am
IT LOOKS LIKE A FLYER, BUT, I LIKE IT. SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE. WELL DONE
9th Nov 2007 2:14pm
I think this poster catches your attention with the dice and you are lead to the statistical information.
11th Nov 2007 7:11pm
not very eye catching
12th Nov 2007 2:45pm
my favourite for typography. great use of design and form. its not much fun but it is very good at communicating information.
15th Nov 2007 12:31am
This poster is THE best its the only poster that takes the sbuject seriously.. unlike the others who have chickens on their poster :S lol This poster is also the only informative poster.... it contains great and shocking facts.. facts are good :) We all know what condoms can be used for.. but we need to know what it protects.. this tells us that I love the tagline.. its FABULOS ! 21st Nov 2007 11:16am
too conservative a poster to be appealing to a younger audience. It's like something from a clinic, im afraid. keep at it though, could be an interesting idea visualised differently and less obvious.
21st Nov 2007 10:16pm
really informative. at last someone who has read the brief!!!
22nd Nov 2007 7:25pm
great idea but needs some work especially on the font. apart from that great poster
23rd Nov 2007 10:08am
This is a good example of how cooper black, the world's best font has been used in the worst possible way!
29th Nov 2007 1:44pm
too wordy. snore.
30th Nov 2007 12:56am
soz but i am forced to agree with sally. too wordy for your drunk audience

This is excellent. I feel it shows a clear and concise message, but isnt overbearing like some of the ones iv seen. The colours work very well together and the durex logo is a very good size. The tagline is also very good. simple but shocking enough to make a statement.
