This poster was created to acknowledge the dangers of all the aspects of unprotected sex. It was created after thorough and detailed research of the target audience and subject matter. The idea of using dice has been the core of the advertisement and I feel that the tagline and perspective imagery contributes to the overall design of the poster. My aim of this poster is to raise awareness via statistics and the colour which echoes the message appropriately. It is a welcome antithesis to the more comedic durex advertisements that seem to dwell more on forming irritating puns that would be more at home in a Carry On film. It does not detract from the serious danger that comes with contracting STI's. Typeface is bold and uncompromising, its succinct message incrimental to its impact. One critiscism, however, would perhaps lie in the lack of prominance on the final tagline. Me and my boyfriend, Matt Evans, think it is superb.
