comments for poster "Protect Yourself - Girl Version" by Patrick_W at durexhibit.co.uk

Having sex with someone whilst not knowing their previous sex life and being unprotected raises the chances of STI.

I did a few designs like having the text in the center, but I believed in the end this layout of the text is more suitable because it divides the 2 genders.

I also thought having the web address is essential because it sponsors the Durex site and I kept it simple because it would be easier to reproduce in print.

I did 2 versions. One for boys, one for girls. This way it will not be sexist.

Thanks for viewing.

Ah right ok. Wanted to try keep it subtle, but probably too subtle. Thanks for the critique, will rethink the design.

No I think this works, It not about being hard hitting, it's about raising awareness and persuading people to use protection. I like it, but it is a little too 'durex' though. I think it needs to be something new, fresh and exciting.
