This poster i designed with a slight bit of humor and a very simple message. I decided to promote the website itself for younger students to seek advice and FAQ's. I have found many younger groups haven't had much advice or education in sex or use of contraception. Many aren't even sure on how to wear a condom. So i decided to create this funny parody of someone attempting practice on a cucumber. This i used my own photography and used current blending techniques with erasing to create a blended effect that i hope promotes the Durex brand well. This is a kind of poster i can see posted up in a nightclub toilet or college. I can do a better job on this poster and hopefully develop it to have alot more depth and precision in the future.

Well, you could work more on the pictures and overall outlook. And I would suggest, on the idea as well... I am still trying to think what are you trying to suggest with the question?

typography is very now and i like how the durex logo has been strectched to compliment the cucumber. Nice!

You are the weakest link...lol this is poor my friend, not funny or graphically interesting. and trust me, we know that you took the photos yourself. SHOCKING!!!! the colours do not compliment each other, the "durex" logo is warped, the typeface is aweful. background image is rediculous. start again mate.

Scrap the idea. it's aweful, it really is. Maybe do some homework on what visual communication is about other than making a big mess of imagery in photoshop.

Unsure of what? Eating a cucumber with a condom on it? Unsure of this being design at all...Are you advising people to use a cucumber and tomatoes in sex instead of doing it for real? I dont get it, and im terrified by the execution and the design process in this piece...Bad imagery, badly layered, not simple, awful use of colour.

I think this poster is a good idea! You have clearly tried to get the web adress across, which I haven't seen before and is a great idea!!! But it's a little fragmented, it doesn't all flow together! But on the other hand look at your number of ratings!!! :D Rock on!
